HONG KONG is set to get its first Andaz hotel located in a part of Wellington Street being marketed as Central Crossing.
The 125-guest room property will include “premium options” for suites and other areas to “double as intimate event spaces”.

Andaz Hong Kong Central is expected to debut in 2027 and is being developed with Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties.
The property will feature the first Andaz Village – an upmarket retail hub alongside the hotel.
David Udell, Hyatt’s group president for Asia Pacific, said the hotelier’s roots in Hong Kong go back to 1969, when the first Hyatt outside the United States was opened in the city.
Hervé Mazella, area vice president of luxury for Hyatt Asia Pacific, will also take the helm of Andaz Hong Kong Central as general manager. He previously held leadership roles at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Park Hyatt Tokyo and Andaz Bali, as well as hotels across France, Monaco, the UK and the Middle East.
“My goal is to establish Andaz Hong Kong Central as the vibrant soul of Central Crossing,” said Mazella. “Rooted in its local surroundings and infused with the spirit of Hong Kong, the one-of-a-kind lifestyle hotel will reflect the city’s rich blend of business, art, culture and heritage, and serve as a creative, energetic hub that celebrates authenticity and connection.”
Andaz Hong Kong Central will be another addition in the continued expansion of the Andaz portfolio across Asia Pacific, said a spokesperson for Hyatt.
