The deal brings Branded events such as All that Matters, Sports Matters, It’s a Girl Thing and Creator World under Nodwin with both parties planning to expand their events and networks across Asia Pacific and beyond.

Nodwin is part of Nazara Technologies and one of the world’s largest gaming and e-sports companies. A statement announcing the deal stated that Branded’s international team, led by CEO and co-founder Jasper Donat, will be taken onboard by Nodwin with Donat also focusing on growing international sponsorship revenue for Nodwin Gaming’s IPs in India and globally.

“We are excited to bring Branded into our fold at Nodwin Gaming, adding its multiple facets to expand and grow our ecosystem. We share very similar synergies be it our common love for gaming, sports, music, esports or entertainment, so this was a near-perfect match, ” said Akshat Rathee, Nodwin’s co-founder and managing director.

IPs like Gaming Matters, Sports Matters and ‘It’s a Girl Thing will add a new dimension to what we already offer. We will also look at the talented Branded team taking our existing IPs such as Playground, The Premiership, NH7 and others international,” Rathee said.

Singapore-based Branded has built award-winning owned-and- operated platforms including All That Matters, Asia’s premiere conference and connections hub featuring Music Matters, Sports Matters, Gaming Matters, Marketing Matters, Arts Matters, Live Matters, Digital Matters and most recently Learning Matters. It recently brought back its Live Matters Hong Kong in an open-air format after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid slowdown.

Backgrounder… Branded warms up Asia for bounce back

“We are looking forward to expanding our existing events and IP and co-creating new, exciting properties around the APAC region and beyond.”
