BANGKOK-BASED Events Travel Asia has unveiled its fourth specialist brand in the form of Bwnd Events – an events and incentive agency aimed at designing and delivering “progressive and high-touch experiences” across Asia.

Bwnd (pronounced bound) was launched at ETA Group’s Annual Partner Gathering at Capella Bangkok last month, with event professionals, clients and suppliers attending.

The launch followed a period of strong growth for ETA Group, according to founder and executive chairman, Max Boontawee Jantasuwan. ETA’s work on the Flight Centre Global Gathering 2026 in Bangkok, last July, successfully delivered 32 events and activations across the senior leaders and sponsors program, as part of a wider week-long event for 2,100 guests from around the world.

Event and incentive travel professionals were among attendees at the launch

Jantasuwan said the scale and success of the Flight Centre Global Gathering program encouraged the launch of Bwnd, which is led by El Kwang as chief executive, with Pete Make-Arun as chief operating officer.

Kwang said the agency was created in response to what the team was hearing from clients and industry partners.

“Bwnd started by firstly listening. Max, Pete and I listened to our clients and supporters, and we saw an opportunity to create something that helps future-proof our profession,” he said.

The successful delivery of 32 events and activations for the Flight Centre Global Gathering gave us the confidence that there is a clear need for a high-touch agency like Bwnd, particularly across our immediate key markets of Australia and Singapore.

Bwnd is about what we can achieve when creativity, purpose and exceptional delivery come together.”

Bwnd plans to work with clients from concept development through to onsite execution, creating experiences that engage people, strengthen relationships and achieve measurable business outcomes.

Conference-style panel discussions added a dose of intellectual gravitas to the evening

Dee Kelly, Senior Project Director at FCM Meetings & Events, a Flight Centre Travel Group business, said the team’s work on the Global Gathering demonstrated its ability to deliver complex international events at scale.

“We have worked with many DMCs over the decades of this event, and our team felt that ETA Group was absolutely one of the best,” Kelly said.

“We felt that we had a true partnership. The team was well structured, and they are specialists in their areas of focus.

“The event was a huge success, and we are very aware that this was highly due to the exceptional service received from the team.”
