Hong Kong Disneyland launches harbour tour transfers

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is enhancing the overall experience for visiting delegations by launching a harbour tour transfer between the resort and city.

The Star Ferry Water Tour Package includes a round trip transfer between Tsim Sha Tsui and the resort and various add on options, including a park admission ticket, lunch or afternoon tea at Walt’s Cafe in the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel as well as a complimentary premium and a snack and drink onboard.

The outward journey takes approximately 45 minutes from the Star Ferry Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui. The longer return leg, lasting around 70 minutes, factors city landmarks that are featured in the park’s new Iron Man Experience, including Victoria Harbour, Tsing Ma Bridge, Midstream Operations and the Container Terminals. The experience is the first Marvel-themed ride attraction at any world Disney Park.

World Ferry
The Water Tour has been launched following a HK$14million (about US$1.8m) refurbishment of the city’s 27-year-old Star Ferry. The upgraded World Star is Hong Kong’s first diesel-electric powered eco-ferry, carrying over 400 passengers.

The route runs twice daily between the Star Ferry Pier in Tsim Sha Tsui – departing at 11am and 5:15pm – and returning from Disneyland Resort Pier at noon and 6:15pm.
