INFORMA MARKETS and AsiaWorld-Expo have partnered to launch a new event covering air cargo and logistics while also highlighting Hong Kong’s connectivity strengths as part of the Greater Bay Area.
A Memorandum of Understanding between Informa and AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) was signed in Paris on June 19 to hold the inaugural Super Terminal Expo at AWE in November 2024.
AWE is adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport, which is connected to 220 international destinations, has extensive cargo facilities and is near the HZMB – the bridge and sea tunnel link to Macau and Zhuhai that links the Greater Bay Area. The expo will emphasise how mega transport terminals link to better logistics, aviation and economic growth while giving participants the opportunity to share knowledge.
“Hong Kong is committed to fostering innovation and growth in the aviation and logistics sectors,” said Jack So, chairman of Airport Authority Hong Kong.
“The Super Terminal Expo will be a landmark showcase of Hong Kong’s progress and development in these industries, further cementing its position as a leading global hub,” So said.
“We look forward to gaining valuable new insights on the latest innovations and technologies that are shaping the future of aviation.”
