Since the launch of its revolutionary loyalty programme for meeting professionals, SPG Pro has generated significant revenue, grown its member base in 189 countries, and rewarded enough redemption points to book more than 150,000 room nights.

SPG Pro offers meeting and travel professionals the ability to earn SPG elite status, upgrades and Starpoints for B2B business booked at any of Starwood’s 1,300 properties around the world. Plus, any SPG member who books an eligible event, whether that’s a corporate business meeting, holiday party, wedding, family reunion or social event – regardless of if they are a professional meeting planner or not – will earn Starpoints and status for the business they influence.   

Choose Your Own Rewards for Your Next Meeting
As part of the efforts to reward the meeting and travel professionals, meeting planners can choose their own rewards in the “Choose Your Own” package offered at more than 300 properties across Asia-Pacific.

Meetings booked by 31 October, 2016 for arrival by 31 December, 2016 will enjoy any two of the following rewards:

•    5% off master-billed rooms

•    Complimentary Internet in the meeting room

•    Double Starpoints on eligible revenue

•    Double complimentary room allocation

•    Double complimentary room upgrade allocation

More destinations, better meeting spaces
With over 350 hotels across Asia Pacific, SPG Pro offers a wide range of meeting spaces in the region’s compelling destinations, from city locations such as Bangkok, Jakarta, Shanghai, Sydney to resort locations such as the Maldives, Koh Samui, Fiji, Samoa, and many more. Brands under SPG Pro include St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W, Westin, Le Méridien, Sheraton, Tribute Portfolio, Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft, and Element, along with an expanded partnership with Design Hotels. With the company’s robust expansion plan, travel professionals will have more choices and greater access to meeting spaces in more destinations. Some of the new hotels include:

Le Méridien Singapore, Sentosa 
191 guestrooms; 483 sqm of premium function space across six venues. The 198 sqm ballroom can accommodate a banquet of up to 160 guests.

Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview (below)
476 guestrooms; 876 sqm of premium function space across six venues. The 384 sqm ballroom can accommodate a banquet of up to 320 guests.

Additionally, the Terrace – an alfresco venue with the Singapore River as its stunning backdrop – can host up to 200 people. The Best Brew and The Bar Terrace are cosy spaces that combine alfresco and indoor settings for approximately 60 people.

The St Regis Kuala Lumpur (below)
208 guestrooms; 10,000 sqm function space spread across 16 venues, including an impressive LED video wall projection system in the Grand Ballroom. Acting as a LED Digital Canvas, the projector immerses guests in a virtual reality simulation, providing unparalleled image and sound quality through a panoramic display supported by a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system.

Other facilities include a supersized lift that can transport cars and other sizable exhibits into the ballroom, and The Salon, which is specially designed for weddings and VIP events and offers a live video feed from the Grand Ballroom so guests can stay connected to the main event. 

The St Regis Langkawi
All-suite resort with 85 suites and four private and well-appointed exclusive over-water villas ranging from 62 sqm to 700 sqm. 1,082 sqm of event space across six venues. The 300 sqm Astor Ballroom can accommodate a banquet of up to 160 guests.

Additionally, it has access to expanded meeting facilities at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, which boasts a 1,660 sqm grand ballroom that can seat up to 1,200 participants and meeting rooms that can accommodate between 20 and 500 people.
