DELEGATES attending conference and incentive in Bangkok are being offered two workshops aimed at harnessing artistic creativity and fragrances to promote brands.
Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) arranged the workshops as experiences for hosted buyers attending the recent IT&CMA 2024, with some saying they will offer the activities to their clients.
The workshops are “ClayCirclelation” and “Sensory Marketing”, which both combine relaxation, creativity and self-learning for the participants and are operated by two local enterprises in Bangkok.
ClayCirclelation is run by Clay Circle in the Sam Yan area, near Chulalongkorn University, and is suitable for groups of up to 60 people. Participants are encouraged to tap into their hidden artistic skills for pottery under the guidance of qualified instructors while marketing concepts are introduced into the design.
Sensory Marketing, by Never 2 Nose in Charoen Krung neighbourhood, is suitable for groups of 30-40 if held outdoors. Participants are made aware of branding, marketing value and how sensory perception – or scent – can convey this in venues and at events. Under the guidance of a fragrance blender, 40 essential oils are blended to produce a unique scent suited to a brand identity.
“TCEB is aware of the value of return on experience and return on investment against the backdrop of the challenging economy. We would like to showcase that Bangkok is second to none in making such deliverables,” TCEB’s president, Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, said.
“The two workshops are just fine examples with more to follow. Cultural and contemporary lifestyle workshops are now mushrooming in Bangkok along with the constant development of new properties, new gastronomical routes, new shopping and entertainment establishments. Bangkok is a destination always evolving to meet the changing demands of MICE industry.”
