Weekend inspiration: Snowmobile safaris

Adventure-soaked incentives are all the rage and Natural World Safaris have met the demand with a series of corporate programmes to some of most elusive corners of the world.

The ‘Extraordinary Incentives’ programme organises trips between five and 15 days, offering experiences such as white-water rafting in Costa Rica and observing gorillas deep in the jungle of Rwanda.

A five-day Arctic Snowmobile Safari is another of the tailored tours, taking guests to Spitsbergen Island in the Norwegian Arctic. Days can be spent snowmobiling in the Arctic wilderness, polar-bear spotting, at night retiring to The Ship In The Ice, the world’s only icebound hotelship.

Newly appointed Incentives Director Arabella Lakin has experience managing Sub-Saharan safari camps and has spent time in South East Asia working with a number of Asian inbound tour operators.

She says: “Our approach and products at Natural World Safaris are perfect for a discerning incentives market that is genuinely looking for unique and memorable experiences. Can anyone else take your team to swim with blue whales in Sri Lanka, spend time with gorillas in the wild, kayak with orcas in the wild, or bask in the Northern Lights of Iceland?"
