Pro Integration Future Asia debuts in Singapore as organisers eye $113bn growth in pro audiovisual market with live marketing and events helping drive demand

A NEW tradeshow committed to shedding light and audiovisual technology on live-event production and other media communication across Asia opens this month in Singapore.

Organisers Montgomery Asia launches Pro Integration Future Asia (PIFA) at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, June 26-28.

PIFA is set to host nearly a hundred exhibiting companies from 10 participating countries and more than 6,000 trade visitors from 20 countries are expected to attend.

A three-day conference is also being organised featuring nine panel discussions led by 30 industry experts alongside 18 Technical Classroom events by Unearthed Productions, on topics such as Creating with AI: Why Acoustics in Audio Visual Installations? And New Approaches for Generating Content and Art.

The organisers also want to see Singapore positioned as an AV and lighting integration hub for Southeast Asia with the Professional Audio Visual & Lighting Integration Association of Singapore (AVLIAS) as its strategic partner with Singapore Tourism Board a supporter of the event.

Hybrid Workplace: Exploring the future of work, a collaboration between C&R Interior and AVLIAS will showcase cutting-edge technological demonstrations on how companies can successfully approach a hybrid workplace arrangement.
Immersive Projection Mapping: A showcase presented by Oceanus Media Global, using state-of-the-art projection mapping technology to create stunning visual displays, will bring concepts and ideas to life in an interactive and immersive way.
XR Production Live: See technology in action and experience how extended reality (XR) can open a world of possibilities in creating seamless virtual events, and revolutionising the world of TV and film production. Oceanus Media Global and Absen collaborate on this showcase where visitors can explore and interact with the technology in different ways, and also experience how LEDs can elevate the gaming industry.

The global professional audiovisual industry is estimated to grow by US$113.26 billion from 2022 to 2027, with Asia Pacific set to contribute a 41 per cent during this period, according Technavio, a tech research and advisory company.

Southeast Asia is among the fastest-growing regions in the world, with the digital economy and tourism identified by analysts as key industries for driving economic growth in 2023.

“The audio-visual and entertainment lighting space is an exciting one to be in, given its ability to elevate experiences across a multitude of industries,” Jackson Yeoh, executive director of AVLIAS.
