EVENT-TECH specialists Encore is helping a Melbourne hotel hit the big time after installing a mega-wide ballroom LED screen.
The company says the 36 metre installation across six configurable LED screens at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is the widest permanent hotel LED screen in Australia and represents a major event technology transformation.
The installation spans 36 metres across six configurable LED screens creates one of the largest visual canvases currently available within an Australian hotel venue.
Combined with a custom tracking system, the permanently installed LED screen’s functions lets organisers reconfigure the ballroom for conferences, awards, exhibitions and immersive brand experiences.

Designed with future growth in mind, the screen infrastructure has the capacity to further expand the installation in the future, creating the potential for an even larger permanent hotel LED display as event requirements evolve.
The LED screen, however, is only the start of the transformation. Led by Encore, the transformation will position Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park among the most advanced event venues in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Spanning the ballroom, meeting spaces and public areas, Encore says the investment is designed to create a more immersive, connected and high-impact event experience from arrival to finale.
The screen is also designed to showcase the work of Encore’s Design Studio, it enables immersive storytelling, cinematic content and experience-led event design on a scale rarely seen within a hotel environment.
