AN EVENTS-SUPPORT platform is preparing clients for a new era in which intelligent assistants become a “natural extension” of their teams – but, at the same time, letting the technology operate as an enabler that does not sideline human expertise.
Brisbane-headquartered EventsAir this week launched Air Intelligence – offering planners a new generation of AI-powered assistants to transform how events are planned, managed and experienced. It says the next phase of event technology will be defined not by dashboards and reports, but by intelligent assistants working alongside human teams.
Rather than navigating multiple systems, AI Intelligence is designed so that planners can pose questions directly to their event data and receive immediate, actionable answers. At the same time, attendees gain personalised, real‑time support without placing additional strain on event staff.
“Air Intelligence represents a fundamental shift for the events industry and how planners engage with their technology,” said Paul Trappett, CEO at EventsAir.
“We’re building Air Intelligence at a moment when the role of software is changing. For too long, event professionals have had to work around systems, rather than with them.
“With Air Intelligence, we’re introducing intelligent assistants that are evolving towards agent-like capabilities, working alongside planners to interpret data, surface insights, and take appropriate actions in real time, powered by over 35 years of event delivery expertise and deeply connected event data.”

At the core of the platform is EventsAir’s unified architecture, which connects live and historical event data across the entire event lifecycle. Registration trends, session performance, attendee behaviour and operational updates are brought together into a single, continuously updating view. This allows planners to identify issues early and adjust while an event is still in progress, rather than retrospectively analysing what went wrong.
The product suite reflects this real‑time ambition. An Attendee Assistant, already available, provides on‑demand guidance during events. A Content Assistant supports the creation of consistent communications, while a Planner Assistant – due to launch soon – is designed to bring insights and support faster decision‑making.

EventsAir says it’s positioning AI as an enabler rather than a replacement for human expertise. “From the beginning, our focus has been on building AI that supports event professionals, not replaces them,” said Mehdi Khalili, CTO at EventsAir.
“Events are complex, fast-moving environments, and planners need tools that can keep up, adapt, and respond alongside them. Air Intelligence is designed to extend what planners are capable of, giving them more time to focus on the strategic and creative elements that make events truly impactful,” Khalili said.
