Team building with a twist

LANGKAWI The luxurious Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is offering three compelling new team-building activities for adventurous groups. The “Amazing Sea Safari Race” (costing RM800/US$258 per person) sees a minimum of 40 people voyage into the nearby Kilim Karst Geoforest Park on a team treasure hunt via yacht, speedboat and kayak, navigating by compass along narrow channels and taking part in blindfolded challenges on a remote beach.

The “Mangrove Survivor” event (RM350/US$113 per person, minimum of 30 participants) also involves kayaks and beach challenges as participants explore the exotic mangrove swamps. The “Lost Legends of Langkawi” (RM500/US$161 per person, min of 30 participants) is a wild car rally along the island’s forest tracks, hill roads and beach trails in search of eight secret locations where challenges await.

Each activity – available year-round – combines personal adventure with the opportunity to immerse oneself in Langkawi’s natural beauty – while developing communication skills and lateral thinking. The 91-room room resort is designed as a chic, contemporary version of a traditional village, with three function rooms and numerous outdoor venues in tropical gardens or by the sea, and is ideal for group buyouts.
