BENÔIT THEBAUT – the co-founder of Riviera Events – has joined experiential specialists Vok Dams as general manager based in Beijing.
The move comes as Vok Dams, which has been in China since 2004 with offices in Beijing and Shanghai, meets the growing post-Covid demand for corporate events. Riviera Events has been building its presence in China since 2008. Both agencies are led by management who hail from Europe.

“Benoît brings with him nearly two decades of extensive experience in the event industry in Asia,” a spokesman for Vok Dams said.
During part of his time with Riviera Events, Thebault was also regional director of events and experiences at Tatler Asia for about three years until December 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile. From January this year, Thebault worked remotely as strategic advisor Asia Pacific for Vox Music Agency before taking up the Vok Dams post full time. He is also co-founder and director of Stelliers, an awards event for hoteliers.
