Reed Travel Exhibitions has partnered with Oneworld as exclusive airline alliance partner for the company’s 19-strong events portfolio including Asia Pacific’s largest meetings and incentives expo, Aime.
Visitors to Aime can book flights to Aime’s host city of Melbourne through OneWorld’s event site from December 2015 and receive discounted fares.
Visitors can fly on any of Oneworld’s 15 member airlines, which includes Qantas, Cathay Pacific and British Airways. Hosted by the Melbourne Convention Bureau, the 24th annual Aime expects to bring together more than 4,000 people from the meetings and events industry.
Aime event director Ian Wainwright said the partnership hopes to attract more attendees to the show.
“This alliance will deliver a host of benefits for visitors to any of Reed Travel Exhibitions’ 19 shows across the globe and will offer unprecedented opportunities for visitors from around the world to attend Aime 2016.
“We are enabling a greater audience access to Aime, the largest event of its kind in Australia. Visitors to Aime have the opportunity to meet with a range of venues, suppliers, technology companies, agencies, convention bureaux and many more from across the globe,” Wainwright said.
Members of any Oneworld member airline frequent flyer programme can use their usual privileges and benefits including earning miles/points and the use any of the 650 plus airport lounges for top tier cardholders.
Booking codes for Aime via Oneworld will be available via www.aime.com.au from December 2015. Aime will take place at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, February 23-24, 2016.
