MINTE WEI is switching roles from supplier to events-creation agency with a move from hotels to BCD M&E.
Singapore-based Wei, formerly global account market director at IHG Hotels and Resort, has been appointed as BCD M&E’s associate director of supplier relations for Asia Pacific.
She will implement the company’s supplier-relations strategy in the region and enhancing engagement across the meetings and events business including BCD M&E’s partner network.

Wei will report to Christine Erickson, Senior Vice President of Global Supplier Relations & Partner Network, and work closely with Sanjay Seth, Managing Director of APAC, and senior leaders to “optimise collaboration with preferred suppliers”.
BCD said that Wei has excelled at working in independent, group, and meetings and event roles during her hotel career.
