Shenyang Expo staff in HK to train for opening

Senior staff at a new exhibition and convention centre in northeast China travelled south to a sister venue in Hong Kong for final pre-opening training.

The team from Shenyang New World Expo is set to handle three major events in one month when the facility in Liaoning province soft opens on March 1. This will be followed by three more events in April.

The team underwent training at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre. The management companies of HKCEC and Shenyang Expo are each subsidiaries of NWS Holdings and sister companies.

“This specific training, as well as the ongoing training Expo received through HKCEC during the last many months, helps to ensure a greater level of professionalism when responding to our clients,” says Diane Chen, Shenyang New World Expo’s general manager.
