Work on installing partitions for hundreds of beds and equipment at AsiaWorld-Expo follows similar temporary hospitals at exhibition centres in Singapore

The first phase was completed in late July and commenced operations on August 1. About 500 cubicles in AWE’s Hall covering some 4,500 sqm were set up by Pico, which also provided electrical fitting, appliances and rental services for furniture and specified medical equipment.

Pico previously delivered 900 cubicles to a 10,000 sqm community care facility set up at Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre and MAX Atria. Nearly 5,000 bunks and beds were also used to transform Changi Exhibition Centre for recovering Covid patients.
