KLCC hits a conference six worth $18m

KUALA Lumpur Convention Centre has secured six international conferences through competitive bidding in the first half of the year.

The conferences, spanning the fields of aviation, global health security, clean-energy technology and women’s health among others, are set to attract more than 6,150 delegates in 2026 and 2027, while generating an estimated US$18.2 million in economic impact for Malaysia.

These conferences not only brings together global experts and thought leaders but also reinforces Malaysia’s reputation as a dynamic and capable host nation for knowledge-rich, high-impact conferences. They will generate significant visitor expenditure across accommodation, dining, transportation and tourism sectors.
