Metta Boonyaritipong has been appointed general manager of Centra by Centara Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon, which is scheduled to open in October.
Metta was previously GM at Centara Sonrisa Residences & Suites Sriracha, a post she held since July 2020.
She began her hospitality career in southern Thailand as personal assistant to the group general manager for Centara resorts in Suratthani.

Metta steadily rose through the ranks in Centara Koh Chang Tropicana Resort before moving to Chonburi to look after two hotels – Centara Pattaya Hotel and Centara Nova Hotel & Spa – culminating in becoming hotel manager for both properties.
Her first GM position was at Centara Sonrisa Residences & Suites Sriracha where she improved the hotel performance and profitability, as well as successfully navigating the hotel through the pandemic period of 2020 and 2021.

The 180-key Centra by Centara Hotel Bangkok Phra Nakhon is near Khaosan Road, a short distance from Sam Yot MRT station, and is Centara’s fifth address in the Thai capital. Landmarks in the area include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, National Museum, Pak Khlong Talat flower market, as well as the district’s street food and family-run eateries.
