The newly opened Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa offers the seaside resort destination its largest ballroom to date, spanning 900sqm.

The 900sqm grand ballroom accommodates up to 700 delegates theatre-style or 500 for a banquet. The space can also be re-configured to offer up to five smaller meeting or event venues.
The resort’s function facilities occupy an independent building with a dedicated entrance and foyer that connects to the main lobby. The foyer can also be utilised for events with a capacity for 600 for cocktails.
Meeting spaces feature leading-edge technology including digital PA systems, wireless high-speed Internet access, audio-visual equipment and adjustable sound and lighting.
Outdoor venues include a 2,500sqm Event Lawn, with space for up to 800 standing or seated, and a Villa lawn (main picture), seating maximum 60.
Also on offer are creative activity programmes, designed to suit everything from small-scale brainstorming sessions to sizeable conferences.
“Our range of resort, beach and town based activities are designed to challenge, motivate and inspire participants to break down barriers, communicate openly and collaborate effectively to achieve results,” explains David Barrett (right), consultant, MICE, Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
“Customized corporate teambuilding activities include the Resort Challenge, which is a scavenger hunt around the grounds, and the Bike A Build Donation, where teams construct a bike and donate to underprivileged children.”
Events aside, the property offers 196 rooms, suites and villas, and a variety of dining outlets.
These include Staa’ s all-day dining restaurant, Aqua poolside eatery, Brezza signature beachfront restaurant, delivering fresh seafood with outdoor dining and a beachside lawn, and Blue Biscuit Jazz and Blues Bar, which serves creole specialties and offers regular live music performances.
