Dorsett & Silka Hotels has announced that its Malaysia properties are back to business under the country’s CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order) standard operating procedures.

Silka Maytower Kuala Lumpur reopened yesterday May 2020 and Dorsett Grand Subang is set to unveil its new norm of operation tomorrow (Friday).

Dorsett Grand Subang is offering the #BookWith Confidence campaign offering free cancellation with one-day advance notice for bookings made for both Dorsett and Deluxe rooms from now until September 30, with stay period running from June to September 30.

Guests can also avail of the Dorsett 3 Wishes campaign with perks across its properties.

To jump start the meeting business as the planned lifting of the Conditional Movement Control Order is lifted on June 9, Dorsett Grand Subang has also launched the Book Now Meet Tomorrow packages with rates starting from RM130 nett per person for half-day meeting inclusive of welcome coffee, and one tea break and lunch.

Meals are offered as individually packed meals and in keeping to the social distancing guidelines while meeting rooms are set up to adhere to local health guidelines.

Full-day meetings are priced from RM150 nett per person inclusive of welcome coffee, two tea breaks and one lunch. Residential Meeting package with full board meal is available at RM250 nett per person. Availability is subject to the lifting of CMCO.

Eco luxury in Sanya

United States-based luxury brand 1 Hotels has opened its first resort in China in the form of an eco-hotel in Haitang Bay, Sanya.

Singapore-based design studio FARM managed the interior design inspired by the tropical scenery of Hainan island.  The resort features an off-site farm that showcases Hainan’s seasonal produce.

Safely at Sands Macao 

Sands Resorts Macao has launched Sands SafeStay, a comprehensive programme of cleanliness and disinfection measures that ensure the safety of guests throughout its integrated resorts from arrival in Macao through to check-in and check-out and departure.

The Sands SafeStay initiative includes hundreds of individual measures to keep guests and staff safe and ensure their peace of mind while visiting, staying and working at The Venetian Macao, The Parisian Macao, Sands, Cotai Central and Sands Macao. The strategy focuses on three key areas: sanitisation, prevention and contactless services, with protocols going far beyond the already rigorous hygiene programme in place. Contactless Service Becomes the New Normal
