EVENT organisers in Hong Kong now have another hotel with expansive sea views to choose from with the soft-opening of the Fullerton Ocean Park.
The 425-guest room and suites property is the second hotel to open alongside Ocean Park, one of Hong Kong’s two main theme parks, and the second international opening for the Singapore-based hotelier following a Fullerton in Sydney.
A variety of outdoor and indoor event spaces are offered including the pillar-free 522 sqm first-floor ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 guests, and a pre-function foyer benefiting from natural daylight.
Spaces for teambuilding and other corporate events are also available in addition to private dining rooms in different sizes on the second floor and three indoor and outdoor event spaces on third floor.
Themed coffee breaks include Authentic Hong Kong; Singaporean Heritage; New York Food Truck, with healthy choices offered in the Fullerton Specialities range.
The hotel, located in the south side of Hong Kong island, also features two signature suites each with a private pool and expansive outdoor terraces.An infinity pool also overlooks the South China Sea.
The Cantonese fine-dining restaurant will be helmed by Chef Lai Ching Shing. F&B extends to the Lighthouse Lounge, Lighthouse Café with Giardino, an oceanfront Italian restaurant located on the third floor, features alfresco dining and is scheduled to open later this year.

The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong is a member hotel of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand bringing together over 650 hotels in over 80 countries and territories.
The hotel, which commenced operations on July 18, is a joint venture of Sino Land and Empire Group Holdings. It is the first in Hong Kong and mainland China to attain the Well Building Standard v2 and environmental initiatives at the resort included an onsite farm and the sourcing of sustainable seafood.
The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong joins The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, and The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, the last of which opened in 2019.
