Show time . . .

Healthy eating options at AIME, sub-zero transport in Christchurch, Parisian party inspiration in Kunming, Bangkok Marriott awards and making sweet music in Macau were just five recent events of note well worthy of showing off. If you have an event you want to show off, click the link above and follow the simple on-screen instructions. In picture order:

EDGY APPETITE: Creative meetings need nutritious meals and snacks to give delegates the “edge”. So naturally healthy choices topped the menu during the three-day Melbourne Edge @AIME where delegates were urged to tackle the “creative future of business events”. Edge was held across Showtime Event Group venues along South Wharf.

ICY TRACTION: Buyers had a first-hand look of the type transport that will bring their incentives to sub-zero levels. This group from Australia visited the Christchurch Antarctic Centre before CINZ Meetings 2018 – New Zealand’s biggest business events showcase – got underway in Auckland. Among the 90 hosted buyers and media were delegates from Southeast Asia and China.

LA NUIT BY SOFITEL: Party like a Parisian amid black-and-white LED lighting inspired Sofitel Kunming’s second anniversary. The southwest city proved a cool China launch for the brand’s “edgy and innovative” party concept, La Nuit by Sofitel, with Mexican DJ sensation Mariana Bo at the turntables.

MARQUIS MARVEL:  Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park scooped a clutch of accolades at the Asia Pacific Property Awards. The six awards included Best Convention Hotel for Thailand and Asia Pacific. The property, with 1,388 rooms and suites, also topped the best large hotel in Thailand and Asia-Pacific category.

MACAU IN TUNE: Romance is usually in the air in Macau, and thanks to Mando-pop crooners Huang Pin Yuan and Victor Wong it had a harmonious setting at Broadway Theatre, part of the Galaxy Macau complex. Huang Pin Yuan joined fellow Taiwan resident, Malaysian singer Victor Wong, for an evening of classic love songs.
