ONCE the newfound darlings of hotel and destination marketers, the days may well be numbered for social media influencers in the travel space who are actually human – if the latest digital innovation is anything to go by.
Singapore-based hospitality brand Cenizaro Hotels and Resorts has introduced an AI-generated influencer called SENA.Z, which has been developed with artificial intelligence consultancy Bracai.
“In response to the burgeoning presence of digital influencers across social platforms, Cenizaro is poised to embrace the innovation through introducing SENA Z. into the hospitality domain,” declares Cenizaro in a press release introducing the virtual luxury traveller.
No longer do venues have to provide free flights, hotel rooms and meals for an army of human social media influencers, AI has the solution that brings a smile to accountants.
“SENA.Z promises to imbue the digital travel sphere with a profound cultural narrative, offering her followers unparalleled travel insights, deep destination exploration and sustainable travel ideas,” explains Cenizaro, referring to AI’s ability to produce marketing content.
Travel-trade journalists have long bemoaned how they are becoming dinosaurs as destinations and hotels turned their attention to the more fashionable – and youthful – social-media influencers. Now, thanks to SENA.Z, it’s the turn of bloggers, vloggers and Instagram stars to endure the digital winds of change.

SENA.Z is also on message when it comes to sustainability: she “exemplifies Cenizaro’s commitment to sustainability by leveraging digital influence to spotlight its global portfolio and beyond, cultivating a truly engaged audience.
“Through the launch of SENA Z., Cenizaro’s goal is to captivate audiences through cutting-edge technologies and inspiring adventures. Her mission goes beyond travel; it’s about championing a lifestyle of curiosity, personal growth, and appreciation for global diversity.”
