A group of 1,150 delegates from an Indonesian insurance company descended on Tokyo for a four-day incentive from May 13-17 2015. Delegates were treated to excursions around the capital’s most renowned attractions together with trips to its shopping precincts and local culinary haunts.
A gala dinner was held on the second night at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa – home to the International Convention Center Pamir – and where guests were entertained by kimono-clad dancers from Asakysa, one of Tokyo’s traditional districts.
After awards were presented to the company’s top performers, a local, traditional string quartet performed a variety of specially arranged Indonesian songs, which got delegates singing along and dancing along to the music on stage.
Following a special offer from Tokyo Convention Bureau, the group was offered financial support for airfare, accommodation and ground transport. Business Events Tokyo introduced the group to local venues and suppliers who also recommended themed gifts for participants.
