A webinar titled Case Sharing from Asia: Industry Recovery Projection presented by SITE China + Launch of SITE Foundation Asia Report is set to go live tonight with the launch of an incentive travel study on Asia Pacific.

The Report on Incentive Travel Asia Pacific is one of three long-form studies from the SITE Foundation and commissioned from data compiled by the Incentive Travel Industry Index, its joint annual research project with partners, Incentive Research Foundation and the Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals.

Padraic Gilligan, of Sol Nua, will moderate a panel of Lisa Xu, managing director, East Star China; Bruno Simoes, of DOC DMC Macau, and Andrea Teo, of Pacific World Singapore.

The webinar is scheduled for 8:30pm HK/SGP/Shanghai/Beijing time.

Beyond the Curve with TCEB-ICCA

Scheduled today at 4pm SGP/BGK time is the second webinar held by congress organiser association ICCA and Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. Today’s event focuses on intermediary and agency organisers.

Three industry leaders will give their views on future scenarios through analysis and shedding light on possible implications and solutions that meetings and conventions suppliers can adopt.

On the panel today are Nichapa Yoswee of TCEB; Jason Yeh of GIS Group; and Oscar Cerezales of MCI Group, with travel-trade journalist Karen Yue moderating.

Maldives: Tourism in the Age of Escapism

Industry figures offer insights into the current challenges hotels are experiencing across the Maldives with panellists aiming to provide a framework to begin the journey towards recovery.

There will also be a special segment presenting a survey of qualified travellers in first-tier China cities in China and their sentiment towards visiting the Maldives and what drives their demand.
