Maceos launches EVENTEXPO

INDUSTRY leaders in Malaysia are launching a new event which is being scheduled to run with Malaysia Business Events Week in August.

EVENTEXPO 2024 was unveiled this week by the Malaysian Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (Maceos). The new trade show is due to be held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, August 19-21, as part of Malaysia Business Events Week, which is organsied by Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

“Everything, Everywhere, Events!” will be the theme , say Maceos, which want the show to be a one-stop marketplace  of the latest business events products, services, technology, trends and insights to help industry growth.

The announcement was made at the Maceos AGM by the association’s outgoing president Francis Teo. 

“After months of planning and coordinating, we’re excited to roll out EVENTEXPO 2024 as a gathering to spark new ideas and new innovations, connections and collaborations,” Teo said.

Apart from the show floor where visitors can meet exhibitors and view their latest products and services, EVENTEXPO 2024 will features workshops, “pocket talks“ by industry experts and a careers fair for students and professionals to explore job opportunities within the industry.

The Maceos Youth Challenge – an annual event to encourage young people to share their best business event ideas – will also be held during the expo.

Maceos expects EVENTEXPO to attract key opinion leaders, conference and exhibition organisers, marketers, event planners, venue managers, technology providers, government representatives, trade associations, corporate companies, and exhibitors from various sectors.
