Saceos boosts education offerings with online brand

Singapore’s foremost convention and exhibition association is making its educational offerings more accessible with the launch of online brand #Educate.

#Educate – accessible via the Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers’ (Saceos) website – grants business professionals in Singapore and throughout Asia access to the association’s professional development courses, designed to meet the industry’s professionals latest needs.

Courses target a range of audiences, from fresh university graduates to seasoned industry professionals.

"Saceos is committed to playing a key role in the development of talent as we strive towards continuing to raise the level of professionalism in our industry and placing Singapore on the global stage" says Saceos president Janet Tan-Collis (left).

Saceos is the first Asian association to be working closely with the Convention Industry Council (CIC) to obtain industry accreditation for all Saceos education courses obtainable in Singapore.

“Business event owners and their suppliers and customers alike do prefer to work with highly skilled professionals who truly are familiar with the most relevant industry skills and up to date MICE trends,” says Selina Chavry (right), global managing director of destination management company Pacific World and chair of the Saceos education committee.

“By being rewarded with CIC accreditation when participating at any Saceos #Educate course, business event professionals will be highly distinguishable for employers and their customers as the leading specialists in their field and true business event professionals."

Interested professionals can access the #Educate course listings via the association’s website and social media channels.
