DIGITAL fatigue is affecting increasing numbers of event attendees with nearly half of planners surveyed saying they struggled to keep audiences engaged.
Technology provider EventsAir conducted a survey of more than 370 event professionals as part of a comprehensive report analysing the latest trends, challenges and opportunities shaping the events industry worldwide.

Among the findings are that 47.2 per cent of respondents say increasing distractions and digital fatigue are a challenge. Despite this, 95.4 per cent rated in-person events as either “very important” or “moderately important”.
High-quality content has become the single most important factor for event success, according to 79.7 per cent of those surveyed, with technology playing a critical role as 79.3 per cent adopted event-management software to help them in their work.
EventsAir also conducted exclusive interviews with industry leaders for the report’s findings which offer guidance for event professionals seeking to stay ahead in a rapidly changing environment.
