Regus Unveils Room-Booking App

GLOBAL Workspace provider Regus has partnered with Condeco, introducing the latter’s room-booking software to allow companies to find and arrange external meeting rooms in a matter of minutes.

The easy-to-use software app runs over a web browser and does not need to be downloaded onto a PC or mobile device. It can be accessed via a desktop, a tablet or a mobile phone.

The app is integrated with MS Outlook. The one-click system removes the language barrier and time zone differences that staff may face when they try to book meeting space in different country.

“If you only book one external meeting room a week because your own meeting space is booked, you can spend an average of nearly two hours booking that one room,” said Simon Hunt, global product director for e-trading at Regus, citing a study done by the market research firm BDRC Continental.

“Add up the time savings from this new  tool over the year and it could save you around 90 hours annually – that’s around 12 working days a year that you could spend on more useful activities,” he added.

Payment for room rental is charged based on the local currency and the price depends on factors such as local market rate and the duration of room rental.

Regus has a network of more than 4,500 meeting rooms and 1,200 video communication facilities at over 1,200 business centres in 95 countries. The company has a presence in 170 locations in Asia-Pacific.
