BUSINESS EVENT operators working with Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau and their counterparts in Sarawak are joining forces in a concerted effort to strengthen Malaysia’s appeal as a MICE destination.
The MyCEB-BE Sarawak Engagement with BE Sarawak Industry Partners 2024 launch took place at the Sheraton Kuching involving about a hundred stakeholders from various sectors, including Professional Conference Organisers, exhibition organisers, event management Companies, Destination Management Companies, associations, and relevant government agencies.

The event spotlighted MyCEB’s incentive campaign – MyTripleE, unveiled in August 2023. The initiative seeks to showcase Malaysia’s offerings in the targeted market segments of convention and exhibitions in addition to corporate meetings and incentives.
There will be a “special focus on Sarawak and the state’s potential”, a MyCEB said in a statement. The collaboration plans to engage partners such as travel agents, hotels, and product owners, in promoting and leveraging the MyTripleE campaign.
“MyCEB is steadfast in its commitment to bolster the state of Sarawak’s business events and cultivate collaboration with the state bureau,” said Azman Haji Tambi Chik, MyCEB chief executive.
