Located at the back of the restaurant – but still enjoying a front-seat view of Pudong’s iconic Pearl Tower – three dining suites can be combined into one to accommodate larger groups if need be.

According to Mandy Ning, sales and marketing manager of the American establishment renowned for sizeable steaks, the usual practice is to hold half-day sessions, followed by either lunch or dinner. Equipment available includes audio system, 55-inch flat-screen TV for presentation, DVD player and microphone. These and wifi access are complimentary with the booking.

Apart from the dining, a series of wine and whisky experiences are available to add some fun and learning to the event. Morton's sommelier guides participants through a choice of four classes: Cabernet is King, Basic Food and Wine Pairings, Old World vs New World Tastings or Scotch Whisky Tastings.

Located at the Shanghai ifc mall, Morton's Shanghai outpost was recently joined on the Mainland by Morton's Beijing (see news), bringing the international locations of this chain to seven. The other outlets are found in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Toronto and Mexico City.
