Marriott celebrates combined loyalty with joint meeting offer

Marriott International, the world’s largest hotel company, has launched its first joint meetings offer for members across its three loyalty programs: Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG).

The offer rewards members booking meetings and events for 2017 at participating properties across Asia Pacific.

“We want to invite our members to celebrate with us as we unlock a new world of destinations and opportunities with our new combined portfolio,” says Peggy Fang Roe (left), chief sales and marketing officer, Asia Pacific, Marriott International.

“With this offer, we bring more options and consistent benefits to all members across three loyalty programs.

“Members can now enjoy over 500 hotels, across 19 brands and 20 countries across Asia Pacific. This is just the first step to making it easier for our members to do business with us and we are excited about offering even more benefits to come,” she adds.

Offer outlined
Up until December 31, members booking a meeting or event at a participating Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards or SPG property in Asia Pacific for stays until December 31, 2017 can take advantage of the following:

  • 5 per cent off master-billed rooms;
  • Double loyalty points (i.e. Marriott Rewards points, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards Points or Starpoints) on eligible revenue; and,
  • One complimentary one-hour welcome reception.

The offer is valid for bookings of minimum 10 rooms per night. Full terms and conditions can be found on the offer website.

On completing its acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts in September, Marriott International matched member status across the three loyalty programs. More on the linked loyalty programs here.
