Luminous MSLGroup crowns 10 years by hiking to the hills

Experiential event agency Luminous Experiential MSLGroup is marking its tenth anniversary by raising funds and awareness for the Conservancy Association along with celebrating the latest in a string of awards.

As part of an employee-led CSR initiative members of the Luminous team hiked 10 kilometres from their office in Causeway Bay to Repulse Bay, on the South of Hong Kong Island.

The “boutique-style agency” also took bronze in the Event Marketing Agency category Marketing Magazine’s Agency of the Year awards in Hong Kong in June. It was the fifth consecutive accolade collected by Luminous at the event over the years.

The hikers raised more than US$12,800 in sponsorship for The Conservancy Association whose mission is to safeguard the environmental resources in Hong Kong, mainland China and elsewhere by advocating policies, monitoring government, promoting environmental education and taking a lead in community participation.

Luminous was founded by Antony Spanbrook in 2005 and became part of the MSLGROUP, the communication and engagement arm of advertising and marketing giant Publicis, in 2012. The agency has operations in Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.

Events Luminous has produced over the past decade include the Clinton Global Initiative in 2008 and the 50th anniversary celebration for the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, which featured a bespoke story projected onto the façade of the hotel. Luminous Experiential MSLGROUP’s longstanding clients include CLSA, PwC, Prudential and Sands China.
