A generous subsidy from Tokyo Metropolitan Government to provide financial support for the Congress was also essential in the bid decision, TCVB said. The bureau brought considerable expertise and experience in supporting Japan Bid Committee prepare its bid proposal and presentation materials.
“The convening of this Congress in Tokyo – the centre of academic activities of numerous research-oriented societies – will significantly impact academia in Japan,” a spokesman for TCVB’s Business Events Tokyo said.
