KHAN SUNG has been appointed general manager of Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel. He takes over from Michael Müller who moves downtown to Tsim Sha Tsui as GM of Sheraton Hotel and Towers.
Sung, a seasoned hotelier joined Marriott International corporate headquarters in 2002 and his first on-property assignment was at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong as director of revenue strategy in 2005.

He moved to operations in 2010 and his first GM role came in 2013 at the historic JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing. Since then, Sung has led operations and openings of properties in China, including his most recent: the Sheraton Beijing Lize Hotel.
Sung is an American-Chinese and holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and a masters in Management in Hospitality from Cornell University.
The 658-guest room Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel is on Lantau Island located next to the AsiaWorld-Expo, the airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Boundary Crossing Facilities.
