The inaugural Get Global – Where the World Meets – MICE trade show built into a fun-filled day at ICC Sydney on July 28. Co-founders Gary Bender and Donna Kessler say the show is meant to break the mould by letting buyers meet suppliers in their own time without rigorous appointments.
This also allowed sponsors and exhibitors to be creative with their floor space and offer a taste of the innovative ideas groups can experience when visiting their destinations.
These included Maori dancers, make-up and studio-set artists who have worked on the Hobbit and other movies, relaxed library settings. prizes being drawn throught the day and plenty of well-deserved F&B.
