The Garden Hotel Guangzhou celebrated its 30th anniversary with a traditional Lingnan-themed gala dinner for more than 500 guests. The reception was hosted in the hotel's expansive lobby which, for the occassion, was transformed into a mock construction site complete with cranes and construction equipment, taking guests back in time to the hotel's earliest days three decades ago.
Entering the Grand Ballroom, guests were greeted by a 180 degree LED visual of the modern Garden Hotel, complemented by a decadent 7 course meal with both Asian and Western dishes. Entertainment during the gala ran the gamut of traditional Cantonese opera to K-pop and contemporary and Irish dance, culminating in the early hours with performances by jazz singer Maria Wang.
