LAWRENCE NG takes over from Shane Pateman as Langham Hospitality Group’s senior vice president, sales and marketing, based in Hong Kong.
Pateman is moving to the Untied States for the dual posts of managing director of The Langham, Huntington, Pasadena and regional vice president, operations for North America.
Ng will lead Langham’s sales and marketing globally while also serving on the group’s executive committee. He was previously senior VP and sales and marketing, Greater China, at Marriott International.

A Langham Hospitality spokesman said Ng, who will report directly to Van den Oord, is an expert in commercial strategy and business analytics, which positioned him as a key asset to shape the group’s sales and marketing strategies.
His appointment is “strategically aligned with the group’s commitment to staying attuned to evolving customer needs and ensuring innovative and tailored experiences across its global hotel portfolio”.
