To celebrate its 8th anniversary, smallWORLD Experience, a Macau-based management event company, invited five local hotels to engage in a fundraising competition on September 6, 2016.
The five competitors – Galaxy Macau, Grand Hyatt, JW Marriot & Ritz Carlton, Starwood Macau and Studio City Hotel – were tasked with designing and producing a stop motion video to raise money for Cradle of Hope – Associação Berço da Esperança. The organisation has been supporting underprivileged children in Macau for the past 23 years.
Galaxy Macau came out on top, with Starwood Macao and Grand Hyatt gaining second and third place respectively.
“We plan to launch at least once a year this kind of event in all the markets where we operate: Macau, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Vietnam”, says Bruno Simões, executive director of smallWORLD Experience.
