Buyers, exhibitors and media flocked to the Ormond Collective – the latest Melbourne venue to come under The Big Group portfolio – as AIME hosted its Welcome Event. The Victorian-style heritage building has always housed an institution down through the decades, but now the property on St Kilda Road is finding a new lease of life as a unique venue.
Decor and an array of performers were added to the venue’s main areas: courtyard with pavilion; art deco-style hall and wood-panelled bar – with each seeing fabulous performances from acts arranged by Solution Entertainment.
Performances included Anna Lumb’s bottle walk and hula hoops, aerial acrobatics, Horns of Leroy jazz – and the burger wall.
