MCEC doubles up on visual upgrades

DELEGATE experience at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)’s Plenary theatre is being enhanced with new advanced LED screens and control panels.

The new screens can double in size, creating a more immersive and visually captivating experience for audiences. A spokesman for the venue said the wide viewing angle and flexible configurations would ensure everyone in the room enjoyed better view of on-stage content.

The new LED screens are also 50 per cent more energy-efficient, contributing to the venue’s energy reduction targets.

In addition to the upgraded Plenary screens, MCEC has installed new AMX control panels in all meeting rooms, including premium spaces.

The new control panels offer an improved functionality and user experience, allowing the presenter to control room lights, blinds, room temperature, speaker volume, music selections and more. The new panels also have a light-sensing feature, catering to diverse event requirements.

MCEC is one of the first venues in the world to receive the new AMX control panel.
