1. City of Dreams Manila
The Philippine capital’s newest integrated resort, City of Dreams Manila, is a sprawling complex that includes three stylish hotels: Nobu, Crown Towers and Hyatt. There is also nightlife, Michelin-starred restaurants and world-class casinos. 

For groups City of Dreams can handle events ranging from intimate board meetings to lavish parties with hundreds of attendees. The Hyatt’s ballroom can seat 500 for banquets and is divisible into three sections. Organisers also have the option of using the Pangea and Chaos nightclubs, which feature live entertainment.

The lowdown City of Dreams Manila brings a version of Las Vegas to the Philippines, complete with meeting venues.

2. Terazi Spa
Day spas are popular in Manila and the Terazi Spa at the Discovery Primea, Makati, is one of the city’s most luxurious, offering a full menu of traditional spa treatments and natural healing therapies. It also lays claim to be the only spa in Manila equipped with a Turkish-style hammam. 

For groups The Discovery Primea hotel has a choice of five meeting rooms named after writers. The Shakespeare and Cervantes rooms can be combined to host 220 for cocktails, with half- and full-day meeting packages available.

3. Jeepney Tours
Manila is famous for its jeepneys, which were originally fashioned from jeeps discarded by the US military as they departed from the Philippines at the end of World War II.  

For groups Sightseeing “safaris” can be arranged to Manila’s Chinatown, heritage sites, upscale shopping malls, luxury day spas, the countryside, and islands. 

Jeepney Tours’ vehicles can transport up to 18 delegates who can also enjoy the Philippines’ love of song with state-of-the-art karaoke equipment. There are as many as 2,000 songs to choose from, with wireless mics that allow delegates to sing duets.

4. White Moon Bar
Following a long day of workshops, seminars and speeches, delegates can watch the sun sink into Manila Bay at this laid-back venue. Open from 4pm to 2am, White Moon Bar is one of several stylish spaces at Hotel H2O.

For groups Organisers wanting privacy can opt for one of several rooms and halls, the largest of which is 460 sqm and can accommodate up to 500 attendees in theatre configuration.

The lowdown The music is hot, the drinks are cold, and the views of Manila Bay are spectacular.

5. Party Bus Manila
If Manila has a unique selling point, it is the warmth of its people and their unique ability to make even the most mundane of activities fun, such as getting from place to place. 

The Philippines capital is rightfully famous for its pulsating nightlife, so why not take your group on a pub crawl by bus?

For groups Party Bus Manila can take delegates to some of the hottest bars, pubs and clubs in Metro Manila in a retrofitted van, which is the capital’s first and only VIP party vehicle, proving that getting there really can be half the fun.

The lowdown The seats are comfortable, and there is music to suit your group’s tastes. Neon disco lights are part of the decor.
