The Seminyak’s chapel is a versatile venue

BALI The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa, located in of Bali’s trendiest precincts, is open to transforming its ocean-facing chapel into a venue for intimate cocktail receptions for 150 guests or sit-down dinners for 50 guests.

Most properties on the island are known to prefer keeping such facilities for strictly ceremonial purposes but The Seminyak management appears to be flexible in this regard. But for groups, who may feel uncomfortable, the poolside also provides another ideal spot for networking.

For a formal meeting, The Banjar (Balinese for “community hall”) accommodates up to 50 participants and is fully sound proofed, creating an atmosphere where clients can focus on productive discussions.

Standing on the site of the former three-star Resort Seminyak – knocked down to give way to a modern retreat with stylish Balinese motifs – the property consists of a combination of 96 guestrooms and 11 villas and two penthouses. The Seminyak was launched in June 2011.
