Foreign visitors to the Korean capital are now being offered a 24-hour sightseeing and transportation pass.
The Discover Seoul Pass, offered by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Tourism Board, grants access to 16 of Seoul’s top tourist attractions.
Valid for a period of 24 hours, the card is activated upon entry to the first attraction.
Users can visit as many of the 16 participating attractions as they please, but may not re-enter the same attraction.
The card also functions as a Tmoney public transportation card. Holders of the pass may use it on Seoul’s subways, buses, taxis and in certain convenience and retail stores.
As the Tmoney function does not expire, tourists may continue to use the pass for this purpose on future visits.
