Trip.com joins economists to produce China study

Experts from Tourism Economics to present findings at ITB China 2025 in Shanghai with updates on business event travel

ECONOMISTS studying trends across MICE, business and leisure travel are working with Trip.com Group and organisers of ITB China to present the findings of “deep dive” research they are conducting to help navigate the industry in China.

The ITB China Travel Trends Report 2025/2026 will integrate key insights from Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics company and global authority on travel and tourism forecasting, and international online travel agency Trip.com Group into the report.

Findings will be presented in time for ITB China 2025 in Shanghai, May 27-29, 2025.
