Business event professionals in Asia will be able to watch and take part in a major conference being held in the United States thanks to special broadcasts of sessions from the event.
The PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) will beam its flagship event “Convening Leaders” from Austin, Texas, to Asia in the first event of its type for the organisation. The event is aimed at business event professionals seeking to expand their industry knowledge.
Convening Leaders takes place from January 8-11 and is PCMA’s premier event for the global meetings and business events industry more than 4,000 delegates are expected to attend.
Asia-based event professionals not attending in person can view and participate in the two special broadcasts for free. They are The Meaning Of Trust in the Digital Age, presented by Rachel Botsman, and SXSW – The Makings of an Iconic Festival.
The delayed programme is scheduled for January 10 and is a three-hour broadcast. To watch register here.
The whole three-day Convening Leaders is also being live streamed and those interested in catching the event can register here.
“PCMA believes in inspiring, innovating and connecting the business events community globally,” says Deborah Sexton, the association’s president and CEO.
“By offering a specific broadcast to our Asian colleagues, we are connecting the industry and spreading the access of education and sharing of perspectives.”
