Imagination’s Apac CEO resigns

Mark Barrett has resigned as CEO of Imagination Asia Pacific and from the board of the parent company to pursue new interests, the creative agency has announced.

Imagination’s chairman for Asia Pacific, Simon Bruxner-Randall, will take over Barrett’s role, the company said in a statement released on Friday, May 15.

“The business Mark leaves today is an important part of The Imagination Group. We would like to thank Mark for his significant contribution to the company and wish him the very best for the future,” Bruxner-Randall said.

Barrett oversaw a significant expansion and diversification of the business, building upon ongoing growth in Australia and Hong Kong with expansions in China, and across the Asia Pacific region, the company said.

Barrett said: “I’m extremely proud to have led Imagination in Asia Pacific through an exciting period of growth and change, and would like to thank the group board and the employees past and present for their support over the years.

“Imagination is a global community made up of extraordinary, committed and inspiring creative people. I leave the business in good hands and with an exciting future ahead. I look forward to seeing the next chapter of the Imagination story unfold.”
