GainingEdge launches online training

Sessions aimed at destination marketers and convention bureaus, but also open to wider industry

BUSINESS events consultancy GainingEdge is rolling out the first in a series of instructor-led online courses next month.

The 90 minute sessions are aimed at providing conference and incentive professionals an opportunity to upgrade their expertise through practical and interactive learning sessions.

Led by senior GainingEdge specialists, the first courses offered will include business events branding, bid process and strategy and local host development.

The courses, which begin on May 10, are being offered in multiple times zones worldwide to provide flexibility in scheduling. Participants in a session will receive a certificate of completion.

DMOs and convention bureaus are the prime target of the courses, but they are also open to people across the industry who have the relevant experience and hold managerial or project responsibilities.

“We have been working virtually with our regular clients over the past year in helping them continue to learn and adapt in our ever-changing MICE industry, and we will now be able to bring these sessions to the broader business events community,” said Jon Sivertson, CEO of GainingEdge.
