Fairmont The Palm Dubai dares to beat the heat with outdoor spaces

DUBAI Despite Dubai’s intense heat during summer, newly opened Fairmont The Palm features several alfresco spaces for events and receptions. These are usable without any discomfort from mid-October to mid-May, general manager Martin van Kan recently told Mix.

The outdoor inventory consists of the Sea View Garden, which can have a round-table arrangement for 120 persons; Palm Courtyard for a reception for 400 persons or lunches and dinners for 200 persons; Arabian Garden which can be turned into a breakfast nook for 170 persons or a teambuilding area; and the adult pool for a round-table set up for 200 persons .

Indoors boasts a ballroom accommodating 600 guests as well as seven meeting venues with the latest technology tools.

Fairmont The Palm, located in the ambitious Palm Jumeirah – the world's largest human-engineered island – opened recently (see news) with 381 rooms that all have private balconies looking out to the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina skyline or Palm Jumeirah itself. Other amenities include an exclusive beach, business centre, Willow Stream Spa, children's centre, gym and seven F&B outlets.
